Just now as I was logging in, there was a picture of Justin Bieber (spelling?) being beaten up. I was suprised that I actually didn't mind seeing that.::sigh:: My mouth hurts pretty badly, as my rear upper and lower molars on the left-hand side were yanked yesterday, so perhaps the pain is making me feel more blood-thirsty than normal. Tragedy strikes a couple of ways

A Great Horned Owl Hangs Out in the Road

Feeling tired

Hi there! I just wrote this letter in response to a note I received from a guy who was quitting oxy some time ago. I can't send it to the original note-writer, because his profile doesn't allow me to send him messages, so instead, this letter is here for others who are quitting opiates. Whether it be norcos, oxy, heroin, or some other opiate, I wish you the best!

That's something you don't feel everyday...
So, I was cutting up some lettuce. It was at the shelter. I was happy. I was so happy that I was singing, as a matter of fact, I was singing, "Santa Baby," by Eartha Kitt. I was looking down at the lettuce and for a moment at my knife as I was cutting crisp, green, lush romaine lettuce. The knife veered and then I saw that I had cut a small piece of the tip of my glove off. Then, I realized that my thumb was hurting, and that it wasn't just the tip of the glove that had some off. I first thought, "Oh shit, the salad," and I looked down to see a fairly decent size circle (about 1/3 of a dime) of red shiny liquid welling up from between the rubber glove wrapping. Grilled marinated shrimp with mango and chili sauce: Take as many tasty large shrimp as you like (we made about 14 for the first go), marinade in butter, add some garlic, 3 tsp. Sambal Oelek chili sauce (may add more or lessen for taste of the spicy component), a dash of Natures Season's seasoning salt, and combine with 1/4 fresh chopped mango in aluminum foil. So, I woke up to a fight, progressed into a lovey couple bonding day, and finished with some kick-ass yoga that left Sebastian really dehydrated and ill. Busy day. I wish S. hadn't gotten sick, though. Then again, he did a Master class- 2 hours of the yoga as opposed to 1 1/2 hrs., and then he took my class afterwards.
